Senior Vice President and Chief Security Officer
Michael A. Ball, 55, serves as the senior vice president and chief security officer for Berkshire Hathaway Energy. He leads a team of security professionals focused on development, execution, and advancement of strategic global cyber and physical security policies and practices. His close partnerships with industry, government, and intelligence communities contribute to Berkshire Hathaway Energy’s ability to continuously adapt its security posture to address evolving threats to critical infrastructure.
During Mr. Ball’s 25 years with the company, he has also led the companywide risk management program and PacifiCorp’s quality assurance and business continuity teams. Prior to joining PacifiCorp, Mr. Ball worked in the banking industry as assistant vice president of support services at U.S. Bancorp’s affinity credit card operations division.
