For the third consecutive year, Berkshire Hathaway Energy earned the No. 1 spot in the U.S. in overall customer satisfaction thanks to large commercial and industrial customers of electric utilities.
According to TQS Research, Inc., Berkshire Hathaway Energy had the highest score among electric utility holding companies in the U.S., with 95.6% of customers surveyed saying they were very satisfied. The company achieved the first-place ranking due to strong performances by its subsidiaries NV Energy, Pacific Power, Rocky Mountain Power and MidAmerican Energy, which all placed among the top 6 of the 93 electric utility operating companies included in the survey.
“We are committed to delivering the safe, reliable, affordable, clean energy solutions our customers want, and it is an honor to be ranked as the top electric utility holding company in the U.S.,” said Greg Abel, Berkshire Hathaway Energy chairman, president and CEO. “Our employees take pride in serving our customers, and we will continue to focus on our customers’ needs and addressing their key energy challenges.”
